Rachael Brandenburg
Zen Shiatsu Practitioner
Shamballa Reiki Master

Rachael Brandenburg was called to the healing arts more than 20 years ago, when she experienced profound results first-hand from Shiatsu therapy for her ongoing back problems. This led her to study at the Boston School of Shiatsu, where she graduated under Kikiku Zutrau, specializing in Zen-Style Shiatsu. This style focuses on the full meridian path system in the body to promote good health by stimulating the body’s natural energy flow (Ki), a style consistent with underlying principles of Network Spinal Analysis.

Rachael’s interest in the healing arts led her to study both Western and alternative medicine. She is a licensed Registered Nurse, graduating cum laude from Quincy College, MA. She practiced as an RN and Life-Enrichment Manager at Sunrise Senior Living in Braintree, assisting Alzheimer/Dementia residents as well as conducting hospice care.

Rachael has been practicing Shiatsu and energy-work since 1994, and currently teaches Shiatsu and Oriental Bodywork at the New England School of Acupuncture. She also is a certified Shambala Reiki Master and Reverend, volunteering as a Reiki practitioner at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Rachel practices the energetic healing modalities of Divine Intervention, Diamond Platinum, Web-Working, DNA Activation, and Prema Birthing, having studied extensively with Rev. Claire Luft.

Rachael’s wealth of knowledge and training adds to the team of talented practitioners at Newton Chiropractic and Wellness Centre. She offers her patients a powerful, holistic fusion of the healing arts with years of sensitive training and experience.
